Using FOCUS Point

FOCUS Point was created for young people in Scotland with the potential to study in higher education to achieve this aim.

In addition to our practical work with pupils in schools and on campus, FOCUS Point offers an online resource filled with tools and activities to support pupils from P6-S6.

- Allow pupils to research career ideas by assessing their own strengths and interests.
- Allow pupils to access advice and tools to help them with their important subject choices coming up in secondary school.
- Allow pupils to read interviews and watch videos with current college and university students and representatives of different job sectors.
- Keep a record of your activities, your achievements, and your goals.
- Save the results of course and job searches.
- Use a Personal Statement writing tool designed to help with UCAS and college applications.
